Graciela Abelin and Carolyn Ratner-Fitzgerald will each give a brief discussion of the movie, followed by an open conversation with the audience.The film explores the complexity, nuance, intimacies, and mysteries of a marriage – can an outsider, whether clinician, journalist or judge, ever fully understand the turbulent life of any marriage?The discussion will focus on the affective undercurrents in modern-day couples with unequal professional development as the film depicts, when a woman’s career success outstrips that of her spouse.
