Washington Case Conference and Seminar Series

Training for mental health clinicians and graduate-level students.

About

A co-sponsored program with the Contemporary Freudian Society, the Case Conference offers a series of eight seminars focused on a topic in psychoanalysis, followed by a case presentation related to the topic. Presenters come from a range of mental health disciplines and practice settings, and participants include both older and younger practitioners from psychology, psychiatry, and social work and a variety of other disciplines. Some are analysts with Washington Baltimore Psychoanalytic Institute affiliations, and others are not. Usual attendance is between 25 and 35 for each conference. Location: River Road Unitarian Universalist Congregation on selected Fridays from 12:15 pm –  2:15 pm. Pre-registration is required.
