INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY FOR CLASSES AND MEETINGS
For participants in classes and meetings in the Washington, DC area:
The George Washington University closing policy will be followed. However, if a student/meeting participant feels that travel is dangerous even if the university remains open, the student/participant will not be penalized for missing during inclement weather. The link to the GW Campus Advisories page is https://campusadvisories.gwu.edu and the GW Information Line is 202-994-5050.
For participants in classes meeting on Saturdays in Laurel or on Monday Evenings:
In the event of a snow or ice storm or other weather-related event, please call the Center at 410/792-8060 or 301/470-3635 if you have a question about a potential change in the class/meeting schedule. Calls will not be made directly to your homes or offices if the Center has canceled classes due to inclement weather. Please check the website as well, www.wbcp.org.
For information about Saturday classes/meetings or class/meeting cancellations, there will be a message on the Center's voicemail by 7:00 a.m. Saturday.
