Utilizing vignettes from the presenter and participants\, we will look at recurrent controversies in psychoanalytic supervision\, the “vital signs” that supervisors monitor that go beyond symptom relief\, ethical and gate-keeping responsibilities in supervision\, and some implications of differences between supervisor and supervisee (and between supervisee and patient) in areas such as personality\, identifications\, culture\, sexuality\, and privilege. \n  \n\n  \nThere is no known commercial support for this program.\nCVs available upon request. \nCE Information: \nContinuing Medical Education – This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of the American Psychoanalytic Association and The Washington Baltimore Center for Psychoanalysis\, Inc.
